Here’s another interesting swaging or cable fabrication tidbit. Swage fittings elongate when you swage them. Maybe more than you think. Here you can literally watch it happen, as I cut the wire short, and the finished product is the exact goal length. Of course this issue is less important when turnbuckles are involved - but can still create interesting discrepancies when both ends elongation isn’t accounted for. Of course it’s most important on fixed length cables with no adjustment, like v2/d3
