PHONICS HOOPLA...I used some cups, phonics sounds on bits of paper (flash cards) and an old hoop frisbee. Popped the sounds in the cups and turned them upside down and off we went. Taking it in turns to throw the hoop to try and make it land over a cup, if you get it you read the sound and think of a word with the sound in. Then you keep that card. Keep playing until all cups are gone and see who wins with the most cards. I got Flo to read my cards too. Ha! Sneaky. But her work sent from school
