Beware of Internal Revenue Scams this tax season A victim recently reported to WCSO they were contacted by a male who claimed to work for Discover Credit card. The scammer said the victim needed to withdrawal cash and deposit it into a bitcoin machine to avoid Internal Revenue Service (IRS) fines and taxes. One red flag the victim noticed was that the call disconnected several times during her conversations with the scammer. In the end, the victim was defrauded out of $2,000. Tax season is almos
