Michael Learned was awarded the Silver Spur Award for her role in Matt's Love Story (S19, E3). Learned's character "Mike Yardner" is the only woman to have an on-screen kiss with "Dillon". As a result of this kiss, in the movie Gunsmoke: The Last Apache, we learn that she became pregnant and gave birth to a daughter named Beth.
