We use infrared cameras on all of our bat surveys, so we managed to get this exceptionally cute footage of a brown long-eared bat leaving their roost. Not only do we get cute footage like this, it helps us pinpoint the exact access features. We can then make sure it is best replicated when this homeowner installs their new roof, so the bats can happily continue to roost in the loft and the homeowner no longer has a leaky roof.
