Speaking publicly about it for the first time, Anna Liedtke said the assault took place during a strip search while being transferred between Israeli prisons after Israeli forces intercepted the Gaza-bound humanitarian vessel in fall 2025. “We were transferred from one prison to another, and during the strip searches I was raped,” she said.
