Lighting plays a huge role, I keep my lighting very soft and dim, not too bright not too harsh. All my lights have diffuser on them. This way the videos are not too over “exposed” and harsh. I adjust brightness and contrast after I shoot 2. Switch your iPhone to capture video in “most compatible” instead of “high efficiency” turn off HDR. Shoot directly on iPhone camera
