Why bats aren't as scary as you think

This big brown bat is checking out his enclosure. As he tries to make sense of why he can’t move through the transparent wall, we get a glimpse at his body through his wing membranes. Soon enough he finds a spot to climb where he will hang and rest. Bats are true hibernators.
