San Francisco’s BART, built by Bechtel and opened 50-years ago, was the most modern and sophisticated transit system of its time. On Monday December 12 its status as an engineering marvel will be highlighted on US TV in its own episode of American Built, a Fox Business series that celebrates design and ingenuity throughout American history.
