This is the last knife edge section of the el diente traverse. Center of the spine there was a little loose block (you can hear breathing intensify) which required careful attention. Around 100 foot drop on both sides which eases up as you make your way towards summit. I was over 14000 feet in elevation as this “crux” lies 100 feet below the 14250 ft peak. Out of LB to Blanca and Crestone to needle traverse it was my favorite of the 3/4 I did this summer. Short, sweet and heart thumping. #fyp #c
