WATCH: Over 15,000 aftershocks have been logged in northern Cebu, according to Engr. Robinson Jorgio on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Jorgio, director of DOST-PHIVOLCS 7's Visayas Cluster Monitoring Center for Earthquake and Tsunami, said that aftershocks are ongoing but are weakening. Jorgio urged the public to check georisk.gov.ph for helpful information, especially when building structures near active fault lines, or potentially active fault lines, and the like.
