VeriSign logged higher profit in its latest quarter as revenue rose on growth in domain-name registrations. The domain-name-registry provider on Thursday posted a first-quarter profit of $214.5 million, or $2.34 a share, compared with $199.3 million, or $2.10 a share, a year earlier.
