California expands laws requiring convicted drivers to fit vehicles with special devices in an effort to reduce road fatalities.

A 36-year-old was arrested on suspicion of DUI after admitting she has been drinking before a single-car crash on Jan. 15.

A suspected drunk driver crashed his pickup truck into a parked food delivery vehicle in El Cajon over the weekend.

While the suspect was not identified by police, they did accused the person of driving while intoxicated while a one-year-old was inside the car.

A suspected DUI driver has been arrested after troopers said he drove the wrong way on U.S. 41 in Hernando County, crashing head-first into another vehicle and killing a passenger.

Police say Jill Spiva, who serves as principal at Addison Elementary, was at fault in the crash. She was arrested on multiple charges, including DUI and an open container violation. Authorities say Spiva was booked into the Cobb County Jail and later posted bond.
